Location: Hawai‘i Convention Center, Ala Halawai Concourse
Time: 17:00-19:00

This year’s IMS steering committee urges the engineering community to “catch the wave,” a powerful image that calls on all of us to seize opportunity and move forward.  This is an especially apt metaphor for anyone reflecting on their professional career and eyeing the next fork in the road, whether they be an experienced engineer looking for a change, a young professional working their way up the ladder, or a student ready to jump into a new job with a splash.

That is why we have gathered a diverse and inspiring panel from the microwave community who can answer your questions about choosing the next stepping stone in your career path.  Our panelists hail from academia, non-profit organizations, large defense companies, and smaller start-ups, so they have perspective on the wealth of opportunities that lie before you as a microwave engineer.

Mark your program book, tell your friends, and enter the IMS2017 Young Professionals Panel into your favorite device because it will be a relaxed and welcoming forum, with good food, drinks, and company. We want this panel to be interactive, so come with your questions and look for upcoming opportunities here and on social media to impact the discussion with our panelists.
